This procedure will split the ENTIRE MARKET PROFILE®

  Video Overview (2 minutes)

• Hold the SHIFT key down on the keyboard and single left click the Profile you want to split.  SHIFT + Left click again to unsplit.  

This procedure will split from a SPECIFIC LETTER AND GOING FORWARD.

• Move the mouse cursor over the letter you want to split the profile at and right click the letter (bracket) and choose "Split Profile at Letter".
• To split all Profiles on the chart click the "SP" button on the chart toolbar.  To display the chart toolbar right click the chart and choose "Show Toolbar".

To undo all splits right click anywhere on the chart and choose "Remove Splits/Merges".

This procedure will split the night session from apart from the day session when the day session begins trading. If you need overnight splits to monitor both the overnight session and the day session, this is the best way.

  Video Overview (2 minutes)

• Open the Market Profile Preferences, choose the Profiles tab.
• Set the Session Override to 24 hour.
• Set the "Special Profile Duration" to Minutes and type in the number of minutes from the close of the 24hr session to the opening time of the day session. For U.S. stock index futures this would be 1020 minutes.
