Why does MarketDelta display a -71 or -72 error after running the Trial for the first time?

Error code explanation:

-71

 Vmware environment (VMware).

-72

 Vpc environment (Microsoft Virtual PC).

The MarketDelta Trial is currently unavailable for installations within a Virtual Machine. The reason for this is due to security restrictions set in place to prevent software piracy. The trial version of MarketDelta will need to be installed on a native installation of Windows. However, this does not mean that MarketDelta cannot run in a Virtual Machine entirely. A licensed user of MarketDelta will be able to install and run the software in a Virtual Machine.

To install a native installation of Windows on a Apple MAC, Click the link provided below:

  • MarketDelta does not provide technical support for Macintosh installations. You still will have access to our educational support via webinars, web site resources and email. Additionally, all users will be able to receive technical support, but only for questions or issues regarding MarketDelta specifically.
  • The licensing system which MarketDelta employs for license activation will only run on a native Windows installation. See this link for setting up Apple's Windows BootCamp environment on a Mac.
  • Marketdelta can be activated on Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista SP2, or Windows 7 operating system depending on the model using the dedicated partition on a Mac system using Apple's BootCamp Partition.
