If you see a warning message that memory requirements have reached 250 MB it does NOT indicate a problem.
MarketDelta has a built-in warning system designed to alert you if memory usage climbs to abnormal levels. By default, the warning is triggered at 400 MB of memory usage which is considered high. If you routinely see this message because you have an unusually demanding set of charts or technical indicators added to the chart, for example, you may revise the warning threshold to a higher level. This is done by changing the default value in the MarketDelta configuration preferences. Go to the Main Menu, Click Setup menu | Click Configuration. Search for the "MemoryUsageWarningMB" variable | Set the override value to 1024 | Click OK to exit and the new setting will be applied.
Thereafter, the warning will occur if memory usage reaches 1024 MB. When memory reaches an abnormal level it may indicate a software problem, for example, or a particular chart that is consuming an excessive amount of memory due to incorrect user settings. The warning system is designed to aid in detecting the source of such problems. If you receive the warning when you open a particular chart or after revising the settings of a chart, re-examine the chart settings or share the chart with support to determine the cause.
